You know, I was taught to use keywords in the title and in the first paragraph so the search engines would "like" my article and rate my article high. I am not going to concern myself with that with this article. Why? There are so many people out there desperate to find a way to make money from home; not only for themselves, but also for the ones they love.
I am going to spend the rest of this article going over exactly why most people do not make money from home. To make money, you have to sell something to someone. It can be an e-book, an affiliate product, or any number of programs or systems that claim to help you make money from home. Unfortunately, there are very few articles or e-books or instructions that tell you how to accomplish that and if they do, they most likely telling you how to do it "back-assward". Selling is not a dirty word. It is what drives our economy. Knowing how to sell is a totally different concept.
Can you guess what the difference is between a salesperson and a "consultant?"
Respect.
The consultant has respect and the salesperson does not. That is because the consultant is perceived as having or possessing value and the salesperson does not and is considered a pain.
Do you know how the consultant creates their respect? By offering value to the prospect before they get any benefit from that relationship. Remember this; all good sales and marketing practices begin by putting the other person first. That is a key concept to making money from home. If you really have the desire to make money from home, don't try to sell anything to anyone. When YOU try to sell something to someone, you are trying to force your will/decision on that person. On the other side of the coin, if someone wants to buy something, it is their decision. See the difference? Always remember, people buy for their own reasons and interests. They don't give a rip about yours. You have got to concentrate on this concept because it is human nature to think that whatever you want or desire, everyone else will want or desire the same thing.
I once read that people buy with their emotions and justify with their logic. Remember back to your last purchase. Did you follow that sales path? Interesting huh?
One final thought for this article...people are not creatures of logic, but creatures of emotion. Once you have tapped into a person's deep-seated feelings or emotions about a certain subject or belief, you have hit upon one of the most powerful forces on earth.
